david ripped off a great lap in qualifying and was one of only a few with both laps in the 16's...outran drawdy, anderson,choquette and all the usual suspects (as well as a whole pile of not so usual ones too). when I spoke to him earlier he aaid he was gonna give me something to root for this weekend - that he did!

choquette and drawdy were not at all as quick as I had anticipated.

anderson is taking his past champions provisional, smart move but I would have liked to see him race for it. the lineup for that consi is ridiculously stacked with talent/$!

I don't remember if the Best Of The Best voting listed David Rogers , but if it didn't it sure should have . I can't remember a time in the last 25 years that David wasn't winning races . A remarkable talent and a nice guy .

30 locked in thru qualifying, 3 provisionals, 6 thru the consi race for a 39 car field.

I am glad to see he is running so well. I was there a few years ago and he barely made the big race by finishing 2nd or 3rd in the consi race. This is killing me by not being there.

this year they are having a single 50 lapper taking 6 instead of two 25' s taking 3 each...I would not want to be in this and have to make the top 6, there will be some gouging and bumping going on for sure.

the new stands are awesome, my only complaint is the way drag out a caution...I wish all tracks had the nss dune buggy group..we left before the mod race was over last night because of it.
