As I sit and think about this years Charity Truckers 200 I can not help but think about the tough economic times we are all facing right now, some more than others. I know things are tight and tough, but I also can see the giving hearts of so many that have already done much for this years event. This is a labor of love for me, it is my way to serve my Lord helping others. It has become a labor of love now for many who have joined me. To others it is their chance to just help, participate and give. I am always thankful and amazed at how the racing family steps up and I now that will be the case even in these tough times. Maybe we can not give what we have before, but we can still do something. I know the Pate Family and little Lacey will be so grateful to all who help. Just as the Hopkins family, the Helmick family have expressed in this years program. We have been privileged to get to know Tommy Hopkins and his family and little Kaleigh and her family and it is such a blessing. Kaleigh's prognosis after last years event was not good, but God has chosen to have her here with us still and she will be there to let us get to share in this wonderful news. Tommy now in remission from ALD and trying to catch up in school, but a growing thriving young man. Folks I can not tell you how grateful I am to those who have supported my dreams, first over 14 years of my go-kart fundraisers, now this huge deal in it's 3rd year. Some of you have been around for all of it, for that I am forever thankful. I simply ask you to come, give what you can, have fun and enjoy being part of something bigger than us. I certainly hope you can come and just have some fun. I wish each of you a Happy Thanksgiving and hope to see you at the Charity Truckers 200 weekend. May God Bless you !
