Don't keep those entries a secret... let us know who's coming! We'd appreciate some updates along the way. As for myself, I like to do some research on the names I don't know, to find some history behind these guys.

It surely helps build interest more than the old "you'll have to come to find out who showed" line.

By the way, Ryan Preece will be here for the whole week, driving his own #40 in the Tour Mods, and the Bob Judkins #2x in the Fla Mods.

Man was that kid getting through the corners Saturday night! If he wasn't so out-motored on the straights, he surely would have been a top-3 car. When asked what kind of motor is in the 2x car, I was told "flea market"!

No 30K motor in that car....

Hey Jerry, I'm working on putting together the pre-entries and getting them on the website... keep in mind though, the Tour-type Mods and 'SK' Mods entries go directly to Brooksie so we don't always have those ones ahead of time...

I will do my best though!

            Motor Rules

So after the mini civil war we had on here regarding motors, did the rules for NSS Speedweeks Super Late Models get finalized in such a way to attract folks from out of state/other series or are we looking at a Tim Russell and Jeff Choquette charity again?

You have the chance with several months to go to get it right. I can tell you that after last year, I am leaning towards VSP for most of my money. However, I would rather see the asphalt show if they have the teams that will make it interesting.

Jerry, Here is the link to the World Series Pre-Entry Page... I will update it as often as I can... CLICK HERE

As far as getting hold of Brooksie... if you click on the Entry form information, his contact info is listed there.

As to the motor rule question, all rules/competition issues should be directed to Butch Pierce... and it would probably be best to contact him directly as he does not read the message board.

I am merely just the Announcer for the track. I do not having anything to do with scheduling, however I do know that adding and/or changing out the divisions during the week is no easy task.

Trailers are parked and haulers/tow vehicles are removed for the week to free up as much parking as possible, so it is not easy to bring in or get out rigs during the event.

I had a good time racing the 2x and I have alot of respect for the kid. I don't know about the flea market motor look pretty good from where I was.

Strictly Stocks could park outside the pits proper, over behind turn 2. they've got DOT tires, driving through sand and dirt won't bother them.

also, this is another reason why big haulers suck.
