Hopefully some guys'll dust off their racers for this one... Ed Meredith was a great guy and an awesome racer... He won the very first feature race held at Speedworld in 1974... Good to see that at least this Memorial race IS being run this year...

These are people that either told me they are coming or I heard was coming. I know the track has been on the phone inviting people to come. I'll try to update has I hear more. Maybe the track can list the drivers that they spoke to. I would hope to 20 cars there I know it might be a stretch but sure would be nice to see that many or more.

i just found out that ryan preece the up north star will be driving the 2x saturday for the 100 lapper

Ryan is actually the Grandson of Bob Judkins, lengendary car-owner of the 2x machines. In another twist, Ryan spent the year running for the Boehler family, another car owner who has fielded cars since the 60's.

This is how far back these 2 families have been in racing...

This is how the 2x Coupe looks in 2008. Ryan drove Grandpa's car at this years Reunion. Definitely not "your Grandfathers Oldsmobile!"
