  • The cover of Circle Track magazine!

Bobby Diehl's gamble to run the UDLMCS dirt cars at his pavement track landed him on the cover of Circle Track magazine! The article about the race was very supportive and positive.

A pat on the back to Bobby and his staff at CCMP!

Now Bobby, be careful who you want in costumes this weekend. Those big kids can be kindof scary without costumes. But I remember one year long, long ago at NSS when there were some pretty good grown-up costumes and they had a ball with the kids. It was alot of fun and everyone loved it so hope you have a great time with your costumes.

My granny made Halloween the talk of the town in Mississippi and everyone came to her house. It is one of my fondest memories of growing up as a child and Trick or Treating with Honey, our Collie, who walked with us and went to every house and then we went to Granny and helped her with candy.
Granny would have alittle of everything, candy, punch, goodie bags, candied apples, carmel apples, and all the kids in the family would help put everything together. That was when you did not have to check candy and you trusted your neighbors and friends.

Personally, I have always loved Halloween and had a ball decorating my house and playing scary music and carving pumpkins with crazy faces. It was a great time. But my kids are grown now, Alex will be 16 soon, and I stopped doing it. I still have alot of kids in my neighborhood and always have candy for them but some of the bigs kids can get rude and are bigger than me.

But have fun Saturday and hope your big kids do also.

Congrats to Bobby, Linda, Jason, Carol, Greg and all the people who have been so dedicated to bringing CCMP back to life in the past two years!

Racing schools, two ASA dates in 2009, the 2nd Annual Battle of the Blacktop.... wow! Even in a down economy, CCMP is growing stronger, race by race. It has been amazing to watch.

That is an incredible cover shot.
