  • CCMP gets 2 ASA South dates next year!

Congrats Bobby you did a great job and deserve the second date in 2009! This is the first draft of the schedule so it will probably change but as of now the series starts out at CCMP!! I am not sure why the last race is in July though? I assume that will change since that schedule is pretty compact compared to the past years and will hurt car counts if and when they wreck.

    South
March 14th Charlotte County Speedway Punta Gorda, FL
    March 21st TBA Florida
March 28th South Georgia Motorsports Park Cecil, GA
April 4th New Senoia Speedway Senoia, GA
    April 11th TBA Georgia
    April 18th TBA North Carolina
May 9th Watermelon Capitol Speedway Cordele, GA
May 30th New Senoia Speedway Senoia, GA
    June 6th TBA Florida
July 4th Charlotte County Speedway Punta Gorda, FL

    Wow!!! You are fast!!!!!

Man I didn't think it was released yet. Thanks for the congrats. There have been many people who believed in CCMP. And have worked very, very, very hard on getting it to where it is today. And just not surviving but thriving in this hard times for our Country. We are now into our second year and planning the third. The lease will go through 4/1/2038. We have big plans for the Track.
Here are what we are working on now:
Finishing the "XYZ VIP Scoring Tower with the Power".
Repaving the track with a progressive banking (giving even more racing for your buck).
Pave a lower push off lane on the inside for the Little 500 South CFSCS race in 2009.
Pave a new section for the CCMP Educational Academy Go-Kart Series.
Expand the paddock area for more big rigs.
Garages in the paddock area for the five type driving schools.
    1. Daytona Drafting Karts
    2. CCMP Manza Go-Karts
    3. FASTRUCK School
    4. Yesterdays NASCAR's School
    5. Late Models of CCMP
Garages for Motor Shop, Dyn Shop, Fab Shop, and a row of track side Team suites for the home based Teams.
A VIP Restraunt on top of turn three (for the Track and Teams Sponsores).
With the new Air Lines going in November. Get ready for this to take off like Disney World....
Yes!!! We got a lot of plans. And the ASA is going to help tell the FUTURE of CCMP.
Thanks for believing and the Support of CCMP!!!

Wow those are some huge plans, I hope that it all comes to fruition for you! The progressive banking will be a great thing if it is done right since there aren't many tracks you can race at that you can run the outside lap after lap. Good luck and I will have to say hi the next time we are at CCMP since I missed you this past ASA race.

We have been quietly at work.

We have a time line and we are really ahead of it. But by all means please stop by and stay hi. We have a GREAT few weeks ahead of us. Next week the Holloween KIDSFEST with the CFSCS, OWM 50, Sp 50, OWSS 50, and the rest. And don't foget the SUPERS!!!! They are on the 15th!!!
        Thanks for believing!!!

Every asphalt track in the U.S. should highly consider progressive banking. If you have ever been to Irwindale Speedway in L.A, you would know why. As much action as the best groomed dirt track, without the dust.
