There will be a memorial service for Moose Alderman at the Ocala Speedway Thursday night at 7:00 pm. Moose raced at Ocala for many years. Moose passed away Friday. See the post on the fan forum at Ocala speedway.com.

I really enjoyed racing moose and hanging out away from the track also.
He was a great guy and i will truly miss him.

The memorial was very nice and a good group of racers, friends, and family were there. Moose got his final lap in the back of the pace truck and will always be a part of Ocala Speedway. And yes, nature waited until the memorial was finished to start raining on us, which was very nice. Moose will definately be missed!Comment

I called Wolf at WTRS on my way home from the track. He played 'riding with the legend' for moose.
Good to see old friends again..........RIP Moose.
