  • Ocala Speedway says thanks Joe VanHoose

Joe managed to get Ocala Speedway on the front page of our Ocala Star Banner for the second time this year. Press like this is invaluable for the Speedway. Thanks Joe!

      We Will Miss You Joe

Joe wrote his last story in the sports page today also. Victim to the merge of the Banner and that Gainsville rag. It's been great working with Joe on a few things, but the best was hearing him scream the first few laps in my NAPA 15 car. Like I told him,"you can't write about a race car driver until you expierence our rush". The pleasure has been all mine. Hope to see you around Joe.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. It has been my pleasure. And it doesn't look like I'll be on the sidelines for too long. Working on a deal thanks in part to many of you calling the Star-Banner and demanding to get my column back.

In the meantime, if anyone needs a PR/Media Relations/Community Relations/Marketing/Advertising/New Media/Promoter specialist, I can be bought at a great price.

Hope to get back in the game soon. I should be around, so give me a call at 352-425-9874.

Take care. (And Jim, I thought the screaming was our little secret.)

          Sorry 'bout That Joe

I should mention that the screams were of thrill and joy.......not fear.

If the Blunder complains about that caller who demands your return and their poor service and biased opinions on politics and the worst TV magazine in the market.............that was not me
          You rock Joe.......
