This is where it should have been all summer. I quit going into the pits because of this. When I did go into the pits I came alone because $60 was just way too much for me and my fiance. Before I wouldnt spend $30 to get in, now I will spend $40 for me and my soon to be wife. Good move Fascar.

Pit entry fee
So glad to see a track step up and try to help the racer and fan with a lower price at the front and pit gate. Being a smart business man he knows in the long run it will help him out also, both with more cars and more fans. My home track since I moved to Florida in 92 has been CCMP and always went in the pits with the wife to talk with some friends and check out all the cars and help who ever I could, but as soon as they raised the pit pass to $30.00 a person I quite going in the pits. After seeing friends and checking things out, the wife and I where in the stands to watch the races, I just can't see the $30.00 each for the wife and me for a hour or two at the longest in the pits. Sure hope Bobby can get his prices back down to where us working people can afford to come to the races and the racers can blow the dust off of there race cars sitting in the garage. I know people don't care how it is done up north, but was just up there to watch son race and the pits was $20.00 for member and $25.00 non-member, front gate was $15.00 and they had Late models, Sportsman, Modified, Street Stock and some 4cylinder class.

Hey Chassis...
just a brief note on the Northern comment.. One must also realuze that the Florida wage average (for true Florida working class) and cost of living is disproportionate to the rest of the country... Florida wages are low compared to cost of living expenses... And the economy here is more related to tourists and those same coming here... Thinking of that, with tough economic times up North come tougher times here as tourists are less likely to spend that darn dollar.
Now that being said, one must also realize that according to statistics Florida folks show a higher per capita income... This factor is directly related to the large amount of retirees that are part time here and part time up North, but they still claim Florida as their domicile due to tax benefits.. i.e. no state taxes, etc....
so take it as you want but there are lots of factors many people don't think about in their thought process...
Have a great day all....

P.S.
I think it is a great thing to see Fascar making that first step in getting the racers back out, the fans back out, and helping a very important thing... Florida's Short Track Racing!!!!!!!
