Only if they take the place of the Bandelaros on Friday nights.

Would the LLM class affect the Sportsmen in any way? Would Sportsmen evolve into LLM? The classes would appear to be very similar to the fans. Worst case: they would wonder why we have two classes with five cars each.

In the Mid-late 1980's, Speedworld ran a "run whatcha brung" LM class that had tons of cars... Basically if it reasonably looked and smelled like a Late Model, it was eligible... Eddie King won a good half of those features in a six-cylinder Ford but nobody complained (much)...
Here's an idea... With the rules meetings coming up, set up specifications that will allow SLM, LM and Crate LM cars to run together competitively in the OSW Late Models... It should not be that difficult to do since Speedworld is more of a handling track than a horsepower track... (This would probably NOT work at New Smyrna)... For the purse offered, the Wayne Andersons and Jeff Scofields won't be showing up so it leaves everything to the regular weekend warriors... For example, say 5 SLM show up, 5 LM show up as well as 5 Crates... you have a 15 car field which is bigger than any field the track has seen for this class (or any other for that matter) all year... It WILL work if everyone can get on the same page... but we know how difficult that is!!

          well..

Darn that deep subject. I think it may be a good class to bring in, as long as it does not effect, push out, or destroy the other classes. i.e. sportsmen or late model and their running at the track on Friday nights...

AS LONG AS THEY DONT AFFECT SPORTSMAN. I dont want to race my piece of junk against a $40,000 late model. Keep the legends and bandos on Sat nights. There are too many classes now on Fri nights.

Rusty , i need to catch up here . What caused the limiteds to be missing from OSW and what has changed that would make them a good idea again ? Not being a smart ass , just out of the loop on this one .

From what I recall lack of cars was the reason. I don't know why they just don't combined the supers and limiteds. I don't think you will see some classes back next year at OSW or NSS on a regular bases or at all. This is just my opinion and does not reflect anything that as been said by FASCAR.
With car counts down in all classes and money getting tight it's dang hard to make it to the races anymore. I can only hope that something good will come out of the meetings the next 2 weeks.

Too many classes now. Include them with the super lates.
