The sprints put on a great race last night at NSS. For the first half of it, we got to watch Blaze Martin, Dave Steele and Troy DeCaire work through the field and get toward the front. I've often said that no group passes as much as the TBARA, and last night proved it.
One on hand, the car count was down a little, but on the other hand, the number of competitive cars was about the same. Last night there were none of the very slow cars that clog up the race.
I was watching from the end of the stands in turn 1, and was amazed at how close these guys run in the corner, and at how much contact there is. They nerf each other while turning at speeds faster than most of us will ever go while driving straight.
It was a pretty good night at NSS. LM, Sportsman, Strictlys and even the trucks put on good races.
