Thats pretty cool thats happening. This is a step in the right direction and hopefully this will set a new trend. I hope that I can make the 60 mile trip. If I can get my wife to cover at the office I will be there.

          thbbbbbbt!

did hell just freeze over or something?

you know, i expect to be getting a FASCAR salary, this being my idea and all.

let's see, 5¢ a year divided by 52 = .096¢ per week. call it 4 weeks for September, that means i've got .384¢ coming to me. i feel like splurging, i think i'm going to the strip club.

I am pleased to hear of the plan. The last time I was at a similar event was with the GMRA in 1991 or 1992. A meeting was called at that time to address the car count and how to win some racers back. By that way, our car count then was probably double what we average now, so lets just say I'm glad to see an attempt to hear us out.

Butch, Joe, what is someone redneck won't sit down and shut up? Anyone who monopolizes the meeting should get stuck with a tranquilizer dart. Use a blow gun, just like on "Wild Kingdom."

Oops, almost forgot. There is an addition to the meeting schedule. The Bandolero meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the "Chuckie Cheese" in Waterford Lakes.

Couldn't you found a closer place to Orlando? Like between Orlando and New Smyrna?

don't forget to rewind! and for gosh sake, wash your hands before you eject that dvd.

I hope everyone will take this oppertunity to go and be apart of this. This is the first time I can remember FASCAR doing this. I will go to give my 2 cents for what it is worth. I also think maybe they should have one night that they invite the race fan and get there opinion on what needs to be done to get them back in the stands. I also know Daytona is along way for some and me being one of them but I will still make the trip down.

                            in all seriousness

After this year, I do believe this is one of the most important things FASCAR can do... this will not only be beneficial to the drivers, but this will probably be one of the more beneficial things FASCAR could do...

As this will help draw out more cars and with more cars come way more fans...

Congrats to Joe and Butch... see you all at the meetings and the track...

                            have a great night...

Absolutely the right direction for the tracks to be heading. Now lets get all Florida track owners and promoters to have some of these meetings (pavement and dirt) and come up with rules and schedules where we can race all over the state and be able to run big shows or weekly shows. I know this concept of "working together" as owners and promoters is kind of foreign to most, but wouldn't it be great for racers, tracks and fans alike! Seems it's already starting to work for some of the dirt tracks.
