  • Can someone bring a grill?

Jack Smith of Karnac has offered to kick in so that we can have a cookout again this year, but I have no way to bring enough grill to do some mass cooking. Can anyone help with that part? Even if a few people could bring SOMETHING, I'm sure I could make it work.

Special Thanks to Jack. When he found out that I couldn't do like we did in the past, he stepped up and wants to show appreciation to the Karnacians for supporting this site, and this race. Awful nice gesture on his part.

    THANKS Jack!

    Grill to the rescue

I have a small grill with a side burner I could bring in the RV. Grill grate is 20" by 14" cooking surface. Will that help. Have not used it in years.......have a new one.

Maybe not a grill, but I'll bring the Keg again like last year.
        Let me know.

I'll kick in to help out too, I just need some more information - namely what time everybody is setting up.

I can bring beer and snack stuff if that's what we need.

IV lines and a Keg will be supplied, but you have to supply
              your own tourniquets.

Only used about a 1/2 Keg last year, the rest went back in my 'fridge.
Jerry just shook his head in disbelief that I even showed up with one.

No big deal, as nothing goes to waste, anyway.

I really don't think I'll do it again this year, unless overwhelming request
              are present.

                Who's tailgating with us?

I'm planning on getting there around Noon. With everyone's help, we can have plenty for anyone that would like to stop by. I'll bring a bunch of chicken, and some assorted other stuff.

So far, it looks like we've got Tripper and his buddy, AB195, AncrDave, Orlando Graphix Mark, Kim & Chris Brown, Ocala76 Jim and Virginia plus their guests, my buddies Gary and Hugh......

How many more? Who else is planning on coming out? All are invited!

I'm thinking I'll be there 2-3ish. Like I said, I'll bring about a case of beer or so.

Do you need me to bring anything else? Snack stuff?

Bring what you might want to be cooked and any snacks as well. AB195 is bringing a keg of unknown beer. It's going to be cold so dress up.
I will be there by noon setting up with the RV in our usual spot.
Thanks Jack and everyone else as well.

Apparently not enough response about the keg idea, but AB195, myself, Jack Tripper, and I'm sure some others will bring a few suds so that nobody dehydrates before the show!

                          See everyone there!

                            Regrets, regrets, regrets.....

There are many things in my life I regret.

I regret the day I sold my 70' Camaro with the big block......

I regret the time I tried to "skate" in the carport with water and detergent for ice.......

I really regret not taking Jill Hunkeler up on her offer to go skinny dipping in her mom's pool in 10th grade.........

But I truly regret that I can't come to the hoe-down this year, Jerry. I got off work last weekend to race and forgot about this being the GovCup weekend. I was looking forward to seeing everybody and shooting the breeze. Was even gonna camp over night to avoid the long drive home.

Oh well....I hope you guys have a good time and I'll have to bring you the Falstaff I owe you another time.....maybe the Modified reunion. That looks like it's really shaping up for you. You're probably havin' a ball just talking to all the past drivers trying to get them to come. I'm looking forward to that one, buddy.

I'll call you next week and get the "rest of the story"....lol

Matt (the former HTC from the old and decrepit board that had to be put out to pasture.)

Sorry you can't join us. I was looking forward to another person who stands for "Truth, Justice, and The American Way". I know, kinda' corney.......but a good point to make.
                              Good luck with the racin'
