  • Don't FORGET - We Need Cars and Drivers Tomorrow at McDonald's in Titusville

All racecars and drivers are welcome to come and join Rusty and me tomorrow morning and Saturday morning starting at 10 a.m. at McDonald's in Titusville on Hwy 50 and I-95. Come and show off your car and help promote local racing. Give the new fans someone to cheer for on Friday and Saturday night. It has been proven that a show like this works much better when there are cars for the people to see and the kids love to sit in them. So come on out to McDonald's and let's find some new fans for racing.

And if you have some old trophys that you want to give to the kids, I will bring the sharpie so you can sign them. Kids love that and autograph cards so if you have any, please bring them. And any Wingless Sprints who are coming early tomorrow, come on to McDonald's.

Thanks everyone and we will see you tomorrow and Saturday at McDonald's.

Probably wouldn't hurt to start em up and rev the engines once or twice during the day , with the approval of McDonalds and the Titusville Police of course . I hope there is a big turnout of cars .
Appearences like these will go a long way toward putting stock car racing back on its feet . I have hauled my race car to many a High School , even Grade Schools over the years to build excitement and awareness of racing . In fact , the first real race car i ever saw up close was at my local McDonalds . A group of local stock car racers did exactly what Rusty is trying to do . It sure worked on me .

We plan to do this as much as possible and you are right, it does work. I saw that last Saturday. For a few hours it was just Rusty and me and no cars and people could have cared less about a free ticket to the races. But when the cars came and the drivers, it was a different story. Then everyone wanted to come and the drivers were great with the people and telling them to cheer for me and watch for my car. Plus I love to watch the little kids when they are allowed in the cars. Their faces do light up. So the more the merrier and thanks for the best wishes. And yes, they love to hear those engines.

If I can get some help finishing up my graphics and loading the car I can have mine there. No motor yet but it looks good. I am in the sub division right behind Mcdonalds.

Qwik Qwestion. Where are we supposed to park our trucks and trailers. The parking lot is kinda small. I doubt the titusville PD would appreciate me driving the car across hiway 50.

We have the cars around McDonald's across from the drive thru. They park the trailers in the Home Depot parking lot but don't worry, we had plenty of room for trailers last weekend and either Rusty or myself will help you park.

See you guys in a few hours. I will be the one with the bells on, an old fashion statement but I still love it. Looks like a beautiful day for a car show and great racing tonight and just maybe, it is the fourth time that is the charm. I love the evenings now, nice and cool, maybe fall is around the corner.

                See ya soon------------------
