Thats nothing. Todd McCreary once told us a story about Ron making a lap around New Smyrna on one tire and a boat oar. He finished second

I was the first to question the decision to yank Jason Solwold out of that R19 ride and put in that broken down old man Haudenschild (just kidding) but it certainly has paid off. That driver/crew chief combo is humming right now.

Haudenschild is sixth in points while Terry McCarl sits in ninth, so that shows what I know!

Your forgetting he won the $50k to win Gold Cup! He's on a roll lately. It would be nice to see him win the National Open at Williams Grove (Live on SPEED) this Saturday night!

I haven't seen a good one-wheel picture since the old CRA days at Ascot Speedway. Wild Child still has balls of steel, and he's no youngster anymore either. Good to see him having some solid success again. His career seemed to nosedive after he and Jack Elden split up.

His career slowed after he left Jack Elden but he was the winner of the only Mopar Million Dollar race ever held at Eldora...without a wing!

Craig Dollansky broke his arm this past Friday night at Eldora in a wild crash. Saldana took the feature win. Brooke Tatnell is going to sub for Dollansky while he recovers.

How about old JJ Yeley winning the midget portion of the 4 Crown Nationals at Eldora...Easy question, who was the only driver to win all 4 features of the 4 Crown Nationals in the same night?

                      That would be Jack Hewitt.

                      What's my prize?

Beat me to it Tripper. Hewitt was an amazingly versatile driver. He could hop in any type of racecar, and immediately be competitive.

Tripper got it. Jack Hewitt. I've had the chance to talk to him a couple of times. What a true character...The night I was at the 4 Crown Nationals he won the modified & sprint features. It was also the night Danny Drinan had his career ending crash.

I guess I owe Tripper an adult beverage friday night since I'm saving 5 bucks off my ticket price.
