My 2020 numbers are in!
It was far from my most productive year, but I did have a career highlight.
I only made it to a track on 23 nights, but they were at 15 different tracks in 5 states. Six of these tracks I visited for the first time.
The highlight was my son Steven's win in the NYPA TQ midget series at Showtime during the Winter Nationals. As much as I loved winning, there is nothing like seeing your kid do it!
The best race night was a tie between the USAC wingless sprints at Kokomo Speedway and Tri-State Speedway.
A low point was Myrtle Beach Speedway on what would be their second to last event before being demolished this year. It was a heck of a track, but the land became so valuable...
The track I frequented the most was 4-17 Southern Speedway in Punta Gorda. I lived in SC for much of the year, so it was a 640 mile trip to 4-17 to race with my kid. Damn, what a crazy year.
