I saw a post today where it appears Putnam Speedway in Palatka has been purchased and may soon be coming back to life.The place closed not too long after I came to Florida so I've never visited it.I may get a chance now.With all the tracks that have disappeared the last few years,one being revived would be a good story.

Reopen or making of a new oval is good.
That info gives me a smile,even though I'm too far south in Miami to go. Many years back it had been used at lest one time for the week before Daytona500 races,like NSS,Barberville,Daytona JrCollage,Deland. All the short track snowbirds came down to race. Still do for NSS.
