A little extra was added into the race program at Auburndale,New Smyrna and Daytona on Saturday.It made me remember what Muhammad Ali said about Earnie Shavers after barely surviving a 15 round decision in 1977.Sometime later Ali said "Earnie hit me so hard, My kinfolk felt it back in Africa."Everybody remembers the fight at the end of the 1979 Daytona 500.My old hometrack had a frontstretch brawl on the last race night of its next to final season.It also involved the track owners wives pulling hair and punching race teams wives.Every police car in the village of Obetz was on scene to stop it.Does anybody remember any memorable disagreements around the track?So many I remember but some just jump out front.
