A really late start made for a pretty late ending last night at Showtime.Devin McLeod brought home the win in the Modified 50 portion of the night in a 17 car field.Several were fast.But the red & black #21 was faster.Repeated late restarts kept reeling the leader back in.But after about what seemed like the umpteenth time McLeod jumped out front once again and held out front for the win.Dodge Carlbert grabbed the Street Stock win in a 17 car field which ended with two of the top 3 tangled and wrecked in turn 4 while the checker was waving.Carlbert came back to grab an 8th place finish in his first ever modified start.Eddie Van Meter took Yoho's money back to Indiana again winning the 75 lap Outlaw Pro 8 feature.Fast qualifier Mark Tunney was taken out on lap 4 while leading....by the last place car who was already a half lap behind..resulting in a violent collision at the X bringing about a 45 minute red flag period Cody Stickler crossed second....BUT not so fast as Yoho mentioned today the race was run using Indiana rules which call for any car exiting the track(Stickler changed a tire outside)would automatically lose a lap.Net difference,fifth on the payout sheet.A few lite showers pushed the start time last night beyond 8 pm and accidents and red flags made it an after midnight night once the final checker fell on the strictly stocks.
