Steve Dorer jumps out front at the green before Neri and Grimm go by before the stripe at lap two.Dorer and Goddard hit the backstretch wall hard on lap four suffering heavy damage with Michael Atwell getting involved and leaving on the hook.Looks like all three have had their day end early.

Lap 83 Webster goes around exiting four.Sergi,Dutilly,Pollard,Nasse and Gorham top 5.Gorham looks faster than Nasse and Pollard and has been searching for a way around them with no luck so far.

Pollard and Nasse work over each other pretty good in the last 20 laps with Pollard settling it to take third.Gorham takes fourth from Nasse and sets to work on Pollard as Pollard goes to rubbing paint with Dutilly. At the stripe it's Sergi,Dutilly,Pollard,Gorham and Nasse.

Good win for Sergi. He led most of the way.Gorham had something for him if he could have ever got to him.Nasse slowed him down too long for him to make a legitimate run to the top spot.

Couldn't make this one and it sounds like a shame that I didn't.

                    Great reporting, 04 .

                      Thanks O.S.

A few things from yesterday I didn't mention or misstated.James Ellis in the #22 was the only starter I never mentioned. The #96 that I thought was Danny Partelo was ( I believe they said) Brian Nuttley....At races end Pollard and Gorham appeared to have the fastest two cars on the track. With a seven car invert Pollards second quick qualifying lap put him starting sixth in the field with Gorham even farther back. That hurt both of their chances.Pollard and Nasse spared no paint working over each other in the final 20 laps and Pollard was trying to slip inside of Dutilly in the last five laps while being badgered from behind by Gorham.I think if the pair would have/could have got by Dutilly and had another 25 laps the outcome would have been different. The mod mini race suffered through caution after caution with a cheer rising from the crowd when it was announced during a lap 34 yellow that the next flag, checker or yellow would end it.Even the winner apologized for the impromptu demolition derby in the post race interviews.I didn't count but I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say there were 15 yellow flags in a 40 lap race.Family members of Joe Boyd were in attendance with the race being dedicated in his memory. At least two cars (Pollard and Becca) sported stickers memorializing him.A group photo was taken of the starting driver's with Yoho leading the entire field of drivers on a walk to turn four to have a special meet and greet session with the people who sit in power assist scooters etc and couldn't come down on track for the meet and greet session.Nascar has nothing on Yoho as planes flying past the track during the race included the US Coast Guard.
