Yeah, we were pretty happy. The kid is a very quick driver!

One of the New Yorker's didn't like getting beat, so he knocked out car out on Friday night in a race we probably would have won.

Saturday night, the motor blew up in qualifying!

TQ's are really an excellent class; I wish there were more participants in this state.

Congrats Rex, I'm truly happy for you. Those cars are very fast and nimble race cars, among the funnest I believe I have personally had the pleasure to wheel. I heard one time that if Silver Crown cars are like Race Horses, Sprint Cars are like Deer then Midgets are like rabbits..nimble and quick as hell. I didn't hear anything about this until I saw he won and my initial thought was "against the NE cars NO WAY?!" I was lucky enough to catch the tail end of the TQ heyday era in Fla and race a few races with 20 plus, but only a few. You can be justifiably proud my friend because the kid must have quite a bit of talent, you don't luck into a win against that many TQ's, and many from up North... congrats again.
