Memorial for Announcer Dave Westerman

There will be a Memorial for Announcer Dave Westerman tomorrow (Sat 12-21-19) at Auburndale Speedway.
They are asking for people to start arriving at 1:15 p.m. to meet Dave's children and sign the visitor book.
I would ask that people who knew Dave and/or have read some of his race re-caps that were written so well you felt you were actually at the race yourself, to attend this memorial.

Sorry I can't make it buddy, I met Dave in 1986 at Sunshine Speedway when I started racing street stocks, best track announcer around. Last time I saw him was at Auburndale Speedway quite a few years ago. He will be missed. R.I.P.

I am in Michigan for a few more days, but I wish I could be there. Dave was a friend, and an ambassador for our sport. Sorry the timing worked like this.
