Brad Bowman looked like he was on a mission last night at Citrus County Speedway.Trey Bayne looked to derail it.Bowman set fast time of the twenty superlates signed in for the 75 lap season finale.Nineteen cars started the main event in front of a chilled crowd on a windy night.Bowman didn't take long to take control and sprinted out to a big lead.An early race pile up in turn one eliminated Daniel Keene,who was locked in a battle with Dave Pletcher to win the track championship along with Keith Roggen and a couple others.On the flip side of the yellow Bowman looked like an easy winner until a pair of late race cautions slowed his charge.Meanwhile Bayne and Wayne Anderson,the latter of the two whom had started deep in the field were cooling tires looking for one last run at Bowman.Bowman jumped out front on a lap 70 restart while Bayne disposed of Anderson and looked to be the fastest car on the track.After the white flag flew Bayne made a run at Bowman muscling underneath in turn one and clearing Bowman's white #2 coming out of turn two.Bowman crossed over coming through turn three muscling under Bayne then gave him a door shot off four sending Bayne up the track and almost to a complete stop short of the wall saving it in time to beat Anderson to the stripe for second.Bowman said in the post race interview that he wasn't going to be beat that way after leading most of the way.Bayne and Anderson didn't appear in post race interviews.Keenes early departure handed the Super latemodel track championship to Dave Pletcher.Eric Sharrone led almost the entire way to grab the twenty car Pure Stock feature.Sport Harley Wilson locked up the 2019 Pure Stock season championship.AJ Waller took home the final race of the 2019 season taking the 25 lap Outlaw Ice cube main event over Bubba Martone.
