Short Track Nationals at Bristol

I haven't followed all the lead in around it this year but I noticed today the C.R.A. sanctioned Street Stock event has 63 cars entered in it.Amongst them Northport Florida's Kenny Gibson and Auburndale Florida native Steven O'steen who shook the car down he's competing in at Auburndale Speedway a couple weekends ago.Both are well down the charts in practice with qualifying and racing tomorrow.The Indiana/Kentucky contingent lead the way in practice which is common with the CRA stocks with a couple of Shady Bowl Speedway(Oh)regulars in and just outside of the top ten.Hell of a street stock field anyway you cut it.

Stephen Nasse took home the gold in the CRA Superlate model portion on Saturday in front of a 33 car field.Anthony Sergi bookended the top five for the Florida group finishing fifth.Jett Noland,Alexa Anderson and John Coffman all finished laps off the pace.
