Anybody ever run a race that started from a standing start?
Watching a broadcast on Mav TV of a series from overseas that started from a standing start.My first year racing our V8 Bomber division tried that for a little while.It brought back some memories and made me wonder if anyone else had ever done that.
Yes, I ran a bunch of endures like that, and some Crash A Rama novelty races too. One night, Speedworld started the bomber race I was in like that. Overall, I think it was safer than a rolling start, but I prefer the traditional way.
