FL SLM driver has passed

I was informed yesterday that Richie Anderson died of a heart attack sometime Friday night, he was currently living in Ft Myers and raced his SLM #51 at his home track in Punta Gorda as well as other tracks in FL, I raced against Richie back in the late 90s in the LLM class and then my son had raced against him in our SLM, great competitor and nice guy to chat with, he will be missed, prayers to his family

That's a sad and unexpected thing to hear.Also this week there have been posts on Facebook that modified division driver Herb Nueman Jr of Inverness is in rough shape.Not sure from what,all I know is things aren't going too good for him right now.

Hey Eric, I heard Neuman had a heart attack in practice with his modified, not sure how he is doing, Billy Bigley will be racing Richie's SLM at the next race at 4-17 in his honor, we will be attending Richie's service this Saturday from 12 to 2 in Lehigh Acres and then get up to the track to race our truck, hope you can make it
