February has sucked when you're sick

I had quite a few races circled on my calendar for this month with everything that's been going on in the state.My body had other plans.I did get to Citrus County at the start of the month and to Showtime on Sunday for their Icebreaker 150.I intended to go to Bronson for the tour mods but couldn't.I guess just as well since only ten showed up.I wanted to go to New Smyrna for at least one night of the World Series but there wasn't any point in paying to feel miserable.At least there was a lot of racing on TV so I guess that had to do.From what I was told by a couple of people Showtime Speedway had standing room only for the figure 8 event on Saturday.The Sunday crowd was better than what his usual Saturday night crowds have been and hopefully he had a good crowd on Friday for the modifieds too.Hopefully I feel stronger this upcoming month because I hate sitting at home on Saturday night knowing there is racing going on out there somewhere.

Thanks OS & Jacko.I guess it could always be worse.My gal friend who stays with me got it passed on to her by me and she spent the last three days in the get well hotel.At least it didn't go quite that far with me.Every day the strength comes back a little more so hopefully that will continue....or at least until I stick my head up and life decides to play whack-a-mole again lol
