Actually post #4 is different than post #1, but I am still unclear on what you are getting at. Been here in the south since I was three so am possibly on a permanent pace lap.
I believe the Reutimann's were/are out of Zephyrhills, & I used to watch Dickie Anderson run when we both were young & assumed he was a local...
Is the point that the northern folks built "southern racing"?
Regardless, even though it really has nothing to do with the south or racing, am all about:

Harold Hall
Mr Harold Hall was a pioneer with racing in central Florida from the 50’s through
2010 when he was still building engines at 85 years young.
He sold Billy Gill his first race car, he ran with the Cagles, Troyers, Scarbourghs,
Golff, Hurst, Clyburns, Radleys , Bontrager’s, Ruitermans and hundreds of others . At one point he had 5 cars runnng / winning that he maintained and owned in different classes with 5 different drivers
He was originally from ANDERSON , Indiana and ran at that speedway that has a lot of special races these days . He was truly a pioneer .
Hall’s Radio and TV Special always blue #3 .
