  • Logano VS Truex @ Martinsville

    The finish:

    My take:

    >Logano did not crash him
    >Logano did what he needed to do to win/advance

Was it a "dirty" move? That would be a "yes".

    >Truex is justified to be upset
    >And will be just as justified as Matt Kenseth if he "prevents" Logano from winning the championship. However, given the fact that Joey "moved him"--not crashed him--Truex should return approximately in kind (that is, less than the pile drive Kenseth provided).

I believe Joey dropped in behind Truex with the plan in mind, and successfully executed.

And... Truex should have either biffed him up the track in a turn on the way by, preventing Joey from getting back to him, or kept him on the outside where he could have controlled the situation.

    Your take...?

Most drivers don't show up to run 2nd (1st loser).... as the saying goes... LAST LAP MATTERS. OSF
Thank a Police Officer for what they do........... OSF:

I am no fan of either, especially Logano, but it looked liked hard racing on a short track to me.

Lee Pulliam said it best... Truex lost the race when he cleared Joey off 2... If you leave yourself vulnerable last lap and last corner, you're asking for it. Not a fan of either but have no problem with the finish or the future retaliation coming in Homestead. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
