SCCA races at Daytona

Anyone interested, there is a full slate of SCCA races at Daytona this weekend, including an hour and a half enduro. No admission fee, you just need to sign in at the gate.

My buddy Mike and his other friend run those events from time to time with their E36 M3. We've talked many times about putting me in the car a bit once I get back down there. Love that track

How bad do you have it? Raced the Vette @ DIS then went over to NSS for the twin 50's Late Models.

Lee did a fine job in the Corvette this past weekend. It was only the third time out for this new build and first at Daytona. Considering we were having clutch/tranny issues all weekend, and the ambient temp was close to 100 in there, the lap times were very decent. The car was hitting nearly 180 mph in the tri oval The Byron Koury vintage type 327 mill makes slightly over 500 HP. Lee says that they are VERY HEALTHY HORSES !

We hope to run at Daytona again in November with HSR, Historic SportsCar Racing.
