Local Speedways Set Schedule & Rules Package
Local bay area speedways, Showtime Speedway and Auburndale Speedway have agreed to co-organizing rules and schedules starting in 2019. The agreement comes in the form of working together to have similar rules for both the popular Sportsman and PRO Truck divisions in 2019 and NO conflicting dates with their feature divisions. Both Showtime and Auburndale will have to their own point’s standings for each track championship and separate point’s fund. Each track will use the industry standard Sportsman rules currently in place for 2018. We do NOT plan on any changes to these rules for 2019.
The agreement makes it so that Showtime Speedway will have its standard schedule featuring on the 1st week of the Month Super Late Models, 2nd weekend will be the Open Wheel Modifieds, 3rd week will be the Sportsman and PRO Trucks and 4th week will be the High Flying Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars featuring the BG Products Southern Sprint Car Series. Showtime will be closed on the 5th Saturday of the month and most of the Saturday night NASCAR events.
Auburndale Speedway will host events on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. Auburndale Speedway will feature the Sportsman and PRO Trucks on the 1st Saturday and the Super Late Models on the 3rd Saturday with a few special events scheduled on the 5th Saturday of the month.
Both Speedway have posted their season schedules on the track website. For more information you may contact Robert Yoho or Rick Day at Showtime Speedway at 727-561-9646 or Showtimespeedway.us and Rex Guy or Rick Bristol at Auburndale Speedway 863-551-1161 or Auburndalespeedway.net.
We wish all our racing family and friends a safe and great finish to the 2018 season as you chase your championship and look forward to a great and exciting 2019 season
