Tried to chime in on Boneman's fantastic review about the Full Throttle 100 . Seems as though the system wouldn't allow, so here is a few thoughts. Top five times were: #17 Nick Neri 13:049, #30 Jesse Dutilley 13:075, #64 Patrick Staropoli (sp ?) 13:126, #20 Anthony Sergi 13:152, Stephen Nasse 13:156. As Boneman and Zero mentioned a great field of Superlates. 33 cars took time (35 cars in pits) with Joe Boyd #5 and Richie Smith #3S having engine issues which would sideline them from the event. Invert of 8 for the starting lineup. Eventual winner Wayne Anderson started 9th. Pending tech, the cars crossed the line with Anderson winning, #17 Neri 2nd, 3rd going to Sergi #20, 4th Dutilley #30, #33 LJ Grimm in 5th. Nick Neri took the $500. halfway award while Stephen Nasse in the #51 took the best looking car award. Great looking field of cars. Notes: #54 Stickler dropped out while leading at about lap 17, Chris Fontaine in the 47 left the competition at Lap 40. Nasse went pitside about the halfway mark. 14 cars finished the event. Race took approx. 1 hour and 11 minutes. Action packed with not enough words to describe. Great Choice. Now if we can only find some info on the official results and storyline. Maybe Mr. Berti ??? BTW, the two announcers John and Tony did an excellent job calling the race. Chicken strips and fries were great as always.....See ya at the Races !!!
