  • You get the chance

through some sort of miracle,to run five Nascar cup races and two xfinity series races. But each race has to be at a different track. And you get to pick the tracks. What seven (currently scheduled) tracks are you picking.Remember from the cup schedule or xfinity.More interested in the track than the event.

Since this falls under the category of "miracles", lets assume that I would be running competitively, and not just putting around in the back of the Cup field.

Brickyard 400, because I'd love to know that I got to race one time at Indy.

Richmond always looked cool to me.

Watkins Glen; I love road racing.

Homestead Miami; kind of a home-town event for me.

Texas. Racing is cool, but this UT grad would love to soak up some Texas atmosphere too.

Phoenix. The distinct corners make it look pretty cool.

Oh well, I might as well try the Xfinity race at Daytona. It is shorter and maybe more spread out. The idea that "anybody can drive there. Just hold your foot down and go", is not even close to the truth. I would have a lot of respect for that place.

Then you would call it Sunshine and all you need is a Delorean and 88 mph.lol Nope I specifically meant Nascar tracks.

          Nice list Boneman

but it doesn't really matter in this case if your running up front or not since we all know one turn can change all that. And respect for the track always.I don't care if it's Martinsville, you could get hurt (or worse) anywhere. But I think there also are certain tracks that would make a little tingle run down your spine to turn a lap on.In fact im certain of that.

There is probably a trick in the fine print that 04 is not mentioning.

Like, you make your picks and ))poof(( now you are Kurt Busch, curled up on the floor of the motorhome.

                old school

I was thinking more like thanking your sponsors at the end (and I don't mean AA either) but if curled up on the floor works for you I won't judge.

but for the sake of this argument it has to have fenders on the front....at least at the start.

Road America and Loudon for Xfinity

                    Easy.

Phil, why not Darlington? I'd probably embarrass myself there and do a full Danica into the concrete.

In Cup, Daytona, because, well, it is Daytona, Darlington, for the same reason. Dover, a superspeedway with a short track feel, and there is a restaurant close by I like. Homestead and Michigan would be cool, too. In Xfinity, with my road race background, it would be Watkins Glen, because it is my favorite road course in the country, even though I have crashed both times I have raced there, and Road America, because I always wanted to race there.

I'm noticing a couple of trends here that surprise me a little. And by the way, there is no "bad" list in this conversation. Some mentioned haven't surprised me,a couple have.

Cup: Daytona and Talledega, because literally every car in the field has a shot to win. Watkins Glen. Bristol. Indy.
                              Xfinity: Road America and mid-ohio.
