So, I might go to the races tonight.

Showtime: What the heck has happened to Yoho's car count? Have they all been banned...?

Citrus: The front stands are still facing the sun & it looks like approx 85 degrees at 6:30.

Auburndale: They have both kinds of music (country and western).

I dunno. Maybe a car show instead...

Remember old school,it may be 85 today but it's going to be 85 in mid April not mid August.Hang out in the a/c in the parking lot until things get ready to start then find a seat inside.That way you only have an hour and a half or so to deal with the sun.Citrus is my choice for tonight.Yoho is going to struggle with car count all season because of his schedule change decision.Just curious though,why didn't you consider New Smyrna?

Citrus County also has great little bistro down in turn 4 with cold beverages, an excellent view of the track, and plenty of shade.

If I was really rich, I'd charter a jet and go to one of the Sprint Car season-openers up in Indiana!

I'm just going to enjoy the weekend off... None of the other tracks really have a good enough show to spend good money on anyway...

Will be going to New Smyrna on Sunday for Kim Brown's memorial... That is much more important than any racing going on including Bristol on TV... Hope there is a huge turnout in remembrance of one fine lady...

Back to the grind next Saturday with 125 laps of SLM racing at Auburndale... Looks like a few of the hotshots are getting "skeered" because the locals like Brandon Duchscherer and Josh Todd are running so well... We are having a great season that is only going to get better... Rick Bristol is really working his hiney off to improve things and it's showing... It's really back to becoming a fun place to go for both racers and fans alike!

you would be flying there to say hoosierdaddy more than anything else.Midvale in eastern Ohio has already cancelled for tonight because of approaching weather that is coming through Ohio and Indiana.I hope some of those new Superlates are present next week at Auburndale and my ability to walk is ok.Hopefully see you there next Saturday.
