  • Huge sinkhole develops at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

    Reportedly a huge sinkhole has developed on the front straight of the legendary speedway possibly jeopardizing the running of this years Indianapolis 500.More details as they become available.

    In further developments, it has been reported that the sinkhole was caused by the ever-increasing downforce from the aero on the cars.

    Hence, if they can repair the track in time, they will be running Watson roadsters per Tony George.

      Other breaking news out of Indianapolis

      A.J.Foyt and Mario Andretti are in talks with the speedway in driving two of said roadsters in this years edition of the legendary race and will be given honorary front row positions,Foyt on the pole,Andretti the post.Bobby and Al Unser Sr. are in talks with the track to occupy the second row with the major stumbling block being the Unser brothers demands that they drive conventional current day cars.All are being recruited (along with unamed others) to help form an Indy throwback league.

        Tony Stewart said he can drive (and fit into) those things, but he does need some "good luck" from Delana.

        Tony, of course, wants a Novi.

          In more breaking news out of Indianapolis

          Talks are ongoing about a backup plan for this May's running of the Indianapolis 500 if repairs can't be made to the speedway.According to the Indy car leagues Jon Kosky from the timing and scoring department pit road would be used as the front straight ( which would make for some very exciting pit stops) with the possibility of also incorporating a "roval" of sorts like nascar currently is experimenting with at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
