Sad to report that Harold "Hal" Perry passed away on February 28th... Hal never was very fast but he was a fixture each and every Friday and Saturday night at both Orlando Speedworld and New Smyrna Speedway... He may have actually won more money than most drivers because he didn't spend much yet always finished after many others had blown up or crashed... Because he was at the track every night, he actually won the OSW Late Model championship one year... The cool thing was, he was always having fun and just a really great guy... I used to kid around with him all the time and he really loved it... RIP Mr. Hal...
