That is the reason wife and I don't come up to 4-17 much anymore, just don't see anything exciting watching the fastest guy start on the pole. Fast qualifier should pull a pill from 6 to 12 for a field invert. Much better show watching a guy race through the field for the win, not only for the spectators but you get more cars to enter race because they have a chance to hold of the faster guys by starting up front. Say a fast qualifier pulls a 10 pill, the 10th fastest qualifier starts on the pole, ninth starts second, eighth starts third and so on back to fast qualifier starts 10th and then the rest of the field start where they qualified

Dutilly would have won if you started him 3 laps down. Granted he has not one every race of late, but when he doesn't win, it is because he gets driven dirty, or wrecked. I am one of the few people that like to see a winner, win! Nothing wrong with starting a 100 lap race straight up, cuts down on a bunch of tore up cars.

If you have to invert, 0-6 would be best...

Let the guys who are 5-8 tents off the pole speed work on there cars so they can get in the invert next time.
