I was able to sneak out to VSP on Wed and as usual was not disappointed.
Tons of UMP Mods - check
Good field of 410s - check
Efficient show -check
Pit Pass Included - check
Pork Chop Sammich = check
Added bonus this year - strawberry shake
big crowd - absolutely
Racing was great - Schatz is just a master. Comes from nowhere to win, seemingly every time. I heard he won again tonight. No cautions in any of the sprint races.
Mods were competitive and ran pretty clean. Nobody really tested the new wall in 1/2, it is right on the edge of where the track was, no more top shelf cushion like before. They did it right, fencing and wall is 1st class. Got rid of stands on backstretch.
Good show - hoping for the same at NSS tomorrow.
