Need Your Help

Julie's so-called doctor has washed his hands of her and given her a hospice doctor. Since her insurance would not cover Little Rock, he just said there was nothing he could do and was not very nice in saying it. The group he is in are afraid of helping her because of him so I am looking for the name of a good cancer doctor in this area that someone has had experience with and trust him or her and believe in them. All this guy is doing is giving her blood which has not helped but nothing for her white cells being so low. She asked him for her old medicine but he won't even discuss it since this new drug was the wonder drug but she can't take it. She is very, very weak right now so I am her legs. I do not believe that there is nothing anyone can do because there is always someone who can help and everyday new things are discovered.

We live on Merritt Island so I am looking for someone close to us since she is so weak but she is willing to try someone new since this guy is being such a total jerk right now. He stopped by while she was in the hospital getting blood yesterday and asked her very smart-like if she liked her new doctor - the hospice doctor who cannot admit her to a hospital, get her blood, and do anything to help but be there. Even the nurses were surprised at his attitude and said she needed to sue him and that when he took her off the wonder drug, he needed to put her on something else since you just can't quit like that but he was made about the insurance not paying for her to go to Little Rock.

Cancer Doctor

Have you tried MD Anderson Orlando? Dr Nikita Shah is the hematologist/oncologist there - my wife said she is very good.

You didn't say who the current doctor is that gave up.

This is a great man and in my opinion a super doctor. I have seen him myself and speak first hand. I would want him on my "Team"

Thanks, I have sent Julie both doctor's names. And no, I did not want to name this doctor but I can say he is on Merritt Island and practices right behind my house on Cone Road.
