Citrus County Speedway "Night of 50's" Results - 11/4/17

What a fabulous night of motorsports action at Citrus County Speedway, Florida's Premier Short Track Racing Venue, on Saturday, November 4th.

Craig Cuzzone won the big 50 lap Blue Gator Tiki Bar & Restaurant/Wheel Man Sportsman Series feature for his first win in over two years.

The 50 lap Street Stock Feature saw a competitor, Adam Soukup, race that came all the way from Farmington, New Mexico hot off a 2017 Hobby Stock Division championship at Aztek Speedway in Aztek, NM who got a fine 6th place finish. Larry Welter, Jr. dazzled the crowd winning that race in a borrowed car, no less, from the Appleby Race Team to stay in the hunt for the points championship.

Jesse Veltman made it two wins in a row claiming victory in the 50 lap Floral City Animal Clinic Pure Stock feature. Kevin Harrod once again dominated the action in the 25 lap Modified Mini feature and the ever growing Mini Stock division, 21 strong, feature went to Scott Werstein.

The crowd went wild in their reaction to the exhibition drifting show led by Caleb Quanbeck and two fellow drivers. Caleb is trying to work out an agreement with Citrus County Speedway management for drifting to be a part of the 2018 schedule once a month on an alternate month basis.
