National Stock Car Day

I was watching the news a little while ago.They said its National Donut Day....for the second time this year.That got me to checking.There is a National Day for damn near everything......but Stock Car Racing.Or just racing,open wheel racing,modified racing etc,.You get the picture. The closest thing is "Nascar Day".Sooooo,How about National Florida Racing Day? I would like to make this happen and with a little planning it would be a great day to build an annual event around.One of a prominent stature.

Poking a little fun at a good idea....

Considering the way that things work in racing, imagine if we really did have a national stock day. Then the open wheel lobby would insist on sprint car day, and naturally it would fall on the same day. Then the two groups could battle it out on the internet and turn everyone off on the whole idea.

So,Im proposing a second day called National Stock Car Racing vs Cattle Stock Car Day.

There is also no national sprint car racing day,Indy car day,Sports car day etc and on and on.You can choose the day,it is a date assigned by the business or orginazation filing the paperwork and there is NO cost to do so.This could be a tremendous promotional tool if used correctly.For whatever type race car or state.
