My little bobby....please pray

so many of you have known bobby since he was born... he is my racing buddy every week....
saturday night he was holding his ears and said they hurt real bad... never happened before. sunday he woke up with a fever and said his head hurt real bad. then he started throwing up every couple of minutes. i kept giving him room temp water and childrens tylenol. didnt work at all. Jen (his mom) took him to the dr. today and they sent him to the hospital for xrays etc. because he is throwing up bile and not getting any better. they will check blood sugars and salt... also give him IV's as he is starting to dehydrate.
You all know that i have great faith in the power of prayer and i trust in the Lord more than anything... please please keep Bobby in your prayers. he is my whole world. he and hailey give me the strength to be the kind of person i try to be so i can set examples for them. they are my joy and my purpose.

Although I read all the post, I do not get involved with religion, politics etc. (just something I don't do - no special reason).

HOWEVER, Please know that I am thinking about Bobby and wish him a super speedy recovery... I know he is in good hands and they will find out the problem quickly and correct same.

Bobby is a great kid, many people at tracks all over the state have seen him enjoy the races with his NANNA. I just spoke to him several weeks ago at your track (I said where's Nanna and he said... She took my sister to the bath room - shortly thereafter, I found you)

Everyone always says at this point - "Let me know if there is anything I can do", But from me - You know I am here if you and/or Bobby need anything (on the up and up this time).

Good Luck with everything Carol. I hate to see anyone suffer, but it's amplified when it's a young kid. Hope all turns out okay.

On the bright side, kids seem to have a way to bounce back pretty quickly, at least a lot faster than the rest of us older farts!

you guys are such wonderful friends. Bobby has a viral intestinal bug and is eating an oreo mc flurry as we speak. thank God....
Jen has to bring him back tomorrow. thank you again. just knowing you are there for me helps more than you know.

i am so blessed to have the most wonderful friends. thank you! Bobby is still kind of weak and his sugars are low but he is getting stronger... i wont know much until tomorrow morning but i had him with me all this afternoon and he was better... i guess he had a serious intestinal virus... he has to go back tomorrow ... will let you know how it goes... scared the heck out of me. he was grabbing his head and crying.. said it hurt real bad... i was worried about encephalitis (sp?)... so many darned mosquitoes this year.
as for Ike... well thank God the worse is over for us. now my sister and her family are worried as they live in texas and ike is on a new mission...

Glad Bobby is getting better. Sounds like he and Mr. Alex had the same thing, I had Alex at the doctor yesterday for the same thing. They put him on heavy duty antibotics, some serious cough medicine and gave him his flu shot anyway since they had them in. He felt awful and still does not feel great but the doctor said it would take a few days. But it is no fun when they are sick even if they are 15.
