I love this photo provided by my friend Marvette Panch Bagwell... Six of NASCAR's greatest drivers... Not sure where this was taken but judging by the banking, this could be the old Nashville Fairgrounds... We are thinking this shot is from 1964...
Ned Jarrett, Big John Sears, Buck Baker, Richard Petty, Marvin Panch and Buddy Baker... Together they made 3,405 NASCAR Cup starts and won 332 races (200 alone, of course, were Richards)... The only one who never won a Cup race was Sears although he had 48 career top-five finishes driving equipment that was good, not great... Thankfully Ned and Richard are still with us... I really miss Marvin as we became friends when I worked over in Daytona...
