Officially for the next demolition derby, August 26th, and for the remainder of the season at Citrus County Speedway the rules will be the same as they are for stock rwd-fwd demo derbies held at the Hernando County Fairgrounds. Many have called for CCS to do this and and management has heard you loud and clear. Let's get the word out to all derby drivers. Come on guys, lets get 20 cars at the track for August 26th. Give the fans a real show!

The new demolition derby rules are in the process of being finalized. All the suggestions and help from numerous demolition derby competitors throughout the state is much appreciated and as much as possible will become part of the final rules. At this point we are considering just two divisions: Stock 4 cylinder compact with no longer than a 110.5" wheelbase and Stock 6/8 cylinder full size car for cars with a longer wheelbase.
We have two demo derby events our official schedule: August 26 and October 14. We are not ruling out the possibility of more being added to our 2017 schedule.
