...but you've got to learn how to move the show along. Yes, the crowd loved the new junkyard class, but running them in the middle of the show, then having to spend 35 minutes cleaning the track of all the parts and shredded metal they shed, and then at least that long for the meet-and-greet with the sportsman class -- there was a lot of just sitting tonight, which is not terrible in April weather, but when it really gets hot, you are going to have a problem. That said, there is so much good about the track now, including the side-by-side, clean racing in the pure stock and mini classes tonight, but please speed things up a little.
And about that junkyard class -- I forgot what you call them -- the reaction from the crowd almost makes you wonder why a track would book sprints and super lates when these guys in tee shirts and motorcycle helmets had had so many people up on their feet and recording it with smartphones. Well, not so much us -- we kind of like sprints and super lates, and cars with actual roll cages and some safety equipment -- but you may have hit on something here.
