Dreaming about 2018 speedweeks....
Non-traditional events are cool. I remember "Battle at the Beach", it was a good race, and looked pretty successful by local standards. The world figure 8 championship should be neat, but I am not sure how that has been working out. I went a few years ago and there was lots of turmoil.
The Big Kahuna? The winged super-modifieds at New Smyrna! Yeah, I love all racing, but I am actually an open-wheeled snob. I think sprints and supers are more exciting to watch than fendered cars. Supers at NSS, and maybe a few nights around the area would be cool; the Florida fans are starved for them.
The dirt LM on pavement idea is a good one too. I bet it could work with so damn many dirt cars in the state at that time.
Wouldn't it be great if the track sites posted a printable, or print friendly schedule? A few tracks so this, but most require you to take a screen shot or copy it by hand. Some of us make schedule spreadsheets, and a printable doc would help.
