My good buddy David Lebeau, who races in the Sportsman division at New Smyrna, got a big break and is running the ARCA 200 at Daytona this weekend. I work with him at the Richard Petty driving experience, and I am very excited for him to get the opportunity to race on a super speedway for the first time!

What car will he be in? My buddy Andy will be in the 02 this weekend as well. Great to see little guys get to the big stage.

      Indeed.

Wishing good breaks and a safe race to them both.

Another local team is trying to get in the ARCA race. Finney Racing from Merritt Island has Caesar Bacarella behind the wheel. Wishing you best of luck!

David is driving the #37 Norm Hutton Racing Ford. He was 22nd in the first practice. Good luck to all the little guys!

David made it in, but just barely. He drew a slow pack to draft with in qualifying.

David got caught up in a crash that also took out the Finney Racing entry. Not a good day for the local boys.
