If you weren't at Citrus County Speedway last night you missed one fantastic Super Late Model race. It came down to the Mike Bresnahan/Wayne Anderson show as these two accomplished drivers fought it out to the end for who would get the win in the 50 lap feature event.
They battled side by side numerous occasions and there were several lead changes. On one restart in the latter stages of the race Wayne drove a little too hard into turn one from his outside restart position washing up the track in turns one and two thus losing a few positions back into the pack. He came storming back in quick order climbing back into second. At that point Mike had about a half straightaway lead, but Wayne managed to close the gap and suddenly was back on Mike's rear bumper. Wayne took the lead at around lap 35.
The last caution of the race was on lap 40 which put the two superstars side by side once again for the final shootout. Mike won the duel taking the lead on lap 41 and pulling away for the well earned win.
