Citrus County Speedway started out right where they left off last season, giant crowds and great racing. It's going to be another big year.

      Yes the did

They did start off the same dqing ppl over crap that doesn't change how a car runs. First they looked at our car several times and never said anything about the center link being wrong which its stock and using another car to say ours is wrong maybe his is wrong. We also have a tube transmission crossmember which has been in the car for 15 yrs now since we have owned that car and they looked at it 6 times before and now it's not legal which does not change anything performance wise. Also the front crossmember has also been cut out for 15 yrs and was told to weld plate back in which we did and now it's has the be the stock metal from a crossmember not plate steel which what f-ing difference does it make performance wise. Just really upset how tech looks at the car several times and looked at it that day and said everything was good to go then after winning the race get thrown out for BS. These are 1970s car you can't buy STOCK stuff hardly anymore even when you buy from the parts house for your car they have changed a few designs even tho they still have the same pick up points. I understand teaching to the rules but throwing ppl out for BS crap is getting ridiculous.

          #77 are you serious !!!!!

Rules save stock fire wall , yours was cut out completely behind the motor . They used to call that an air box area when all that's cut out . Crank balancer was sticking over the top of the lower crossmember instead of in front as stock does, fuel pump area cut out in cross member to clear set back fuel pump, no they don't sell parts for older cars in particular when they wouldn't mount in the stock location like your set back . Btw, the other 1970's cars all found cross members
That's why you have to work at racing at times. If you ran in the SS class you would have probably done pretty well and not gone home empty handed . Good job Tech. Team for following the rule book . Congrats to the #58 father and son team for winning and passing tech, as well as the other top 5 cars.

            Lol

Lol you think that little bit of the very top of the firewall being cut really makes a difference I doubt it. It's been like that for 15 yrs and no one has every said anything about it. The crossmember was cut also which we welded plate steel back in like their tech guy told us and now he's changing his mind said it has to be the stock metal back in. Give me a break if you think that makes a difference also. The motor mounts are bolt in style and they bolted in the original holes. The balancer is infront of the crossmember lol there's no way to get it behind the crossmember or even above the crossmember without cutting and moving the whole firewall. The crossmember was cut also for fuel pump clearance for one being we run a racing pump which is way bigger the stock and also I do that so if you wreck the car it doesn't knock the fuel pump off and start a fire. Seems like that really made a difference is to why we won also right. You guys complain about crap that doesn't make the car perform any different but since my driver won and you didn't people will cry about anything because nobody can except the fact they lost. Don't worry it will get a complete new clip so you guys can't whine and still will run the same or faster times. Also Shawn who ever you are if you think the motor isn't legal buy it. The track can check anything they want on it I don't have one problem with that. It is 100% legal and it's been checked several times by new Smyrna tech. Everyone jumps to conclusions when they get out ran. Also we work on our cars a ton maybe that's why we are fast and win quite often when we race for your info. We build cars for people also and they win so pretty sure we know what we are doing.

              Also

Also Shawn or anybody else if you check out the transponder timing from the pure stock race you will see we didn't even run the fastest time. If you would look at the times from lap 1 to lap 50 and see what we ran the whole time maybe that's why you got beat. Maybe you should check out their motors also since you think that's another reason why we won
