SSCS MODIFIEDS AND STREET STOCKS GO FOR 50 LAPS SATURDAY NIGHT AT AUBURNDALE SPEEDWAY
After two consecutive rainy Sundays, Auburndale Speedway will move this weeks racing events to Saturday night. The Sunshine State Challenge Series will bring two major events to the track this week as the Open Wheel Modifieds and Street Stocks each have a 50 lap feature slated. Along with the SSCS races, the Mini Stocks and Scramblers will also be in action.
During intermission, all drivers in all classes will have their cars on the track for "We Support Our Drivers." Fans can come out on the track where will there be photo opportunities along with a chance to meet the drivers and get their autographs.
Pit gates open Saturday afternoon at 2 pm with practice by rotation for all classes from 3-5:30 pm. Grandstand gates open at 5 pm with Street Stock and Modified qualifying at 6 pm.
Racing begins at 7 pm with 8-lap heat races for the Mini Stocks and Scramblers. Feature racing follows with the 50-lap run for the Street Stocks and 20 laps for the Scramblers.
Intermission follows with the "We Support Our Drivers" chance for fans to get up close and personal with their favorites. The Mini Stocks then go for 25 laps followed by the big 50-lap contest for the Modifieds.
Adult admission is just $15 with seniors 55+ $13. Children ages 5-12 are just $5 and all kids 4 and under get in free. The family 4-pack is just $32 for two adult and two children’s admissions (a $40 value). Pit passes are $30 per person and all parking is free.
